Yuko Tsuda (Soprano Singer, Voice Trainer)

Yuko Tsuda is a soprano singer known for her captivating performances and dedication to her craft. She graduated from Osaka University of Arts, receiving top honors, and later pursued advanced studies at the Graduate School of Performing Arts.

 

Her career began with performances alongside the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, including notable appearances at the Yomiuri Newcomer Concert, Nara Prefecture Newcomer Concert, and the esteemed 2002 Azelia Newcomer Concert. After moving to New York, Yuko continued her studies at Mannes School of Music and delivered a remarkable performance as Kesha in the opera "Kesha and Morito" at Merkin Hall.

 

In 2006, Yuko garnered recognition at the Artist International Auditions, winning a special prize that paved the way for her solo concert debut at Carnegie Hall. She also performed in her hometown, earning praise for her expressive and passionate voice that captivated a full audience.

 

Yuko's versatility was showcased in collaborations and performances around the world, including joint concert with Lawrence Craig in 2009 and an unforgettable performance as the soprano soloist for Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and Mozart's Coronation Mass with the RICCS Orchestra and Chorus at Riverside Church in New York in December 2010. In 2011, Yuko mesmerized audiences with her portrayal of Despina in the opera "Cosi fan tutte" at the Verona Opera Workshop's conclusion concert in Verona, Italy, showcasing her dynamic range and artistry on an international stage.

 

Yuko's also committed to giving back, performing at charity events for Japan, America, and the Great East Japan Earthquake, and inspiring young musicians at her alma mater through lectures and concerts.

 

Collaborating with musicians from diverse genres in New York and around the world, she showcased the universal language of music, transcending boundaries and touching hearts around the world.
